My wife and I brought her newly purchased vehicle here on August 27, 2025 for a compound polish to remove scratches and an interior detail. Unfortunately, the service she received did not match what was agreed upon.

The car was waxed instead of polished, which did not address the scratches — the main reason we came in. The invoice itself confirms this: it lists "Wash & Wax" at $725, not a compound polish. Wax sits on top of paint; a compound polish is an abrasive process that actually removes scratches. These are fundamentally different services.

The interior detail ($475) was also well below expectations. Areas such as the seats, door bottoms, weatherstripping, and door jambs were not cleaned properly. The center console was left dusty. The window seals had visible residue. The work did not reflect professional standards for a service at this price point.

For what was actually performed — a wash, wax, and incomplete interior clean — a fair price would have been closer to $300–$400. I am requesting a partial refund of $800.

Because of this experience, we will not be returning and cannot recommend this business to others.

The Invoice — Key Evidence

The invoice issued by Navarro & Son proves the service billed was "Wash & Wax" — not the compound polish that was requested and agreed upon. This is not a dispute about quality; it is a dispute about a different service being performed entirely.

What the Invoice Shows

  • Invoice #: 3415
  • Date: August 27, 2025
  • Vehicle: 2019 Toyota Corolla
  • Line 1: Wash & Wax Gray — $725
  • Line 2: Interior Detail — $475
  • Total Charged: $1,200.00 — PAID
Critical Point: A compound polish removes scratches by using an abrasive compound on the paint. A wash & wax only cleans and coats the surface — it does nothing to remove scratches. We paid $725 for the wrong service.
